Jennifer and Greg's Wedding
On April 18th, I was fortunate to work with a wonderful couple and their families for their wedding at the Paramount Plaza. Unlike most weddings that I plan, I actually didn't meet the bride until 3 days before her wedding! She lives in West Palm Beach, so instead I worked with her amazing parents, Glenn and Pat, to make all their wishes for their little girl come true!
Jennifer and Greg truly have a cool story- the first time they dated each other, it was only a few months before they broke up and went their separate ways. As fate would have it, they were brought back together 10 years later and have been inseparable ever since! I guess it's true that if you let something go and it comes back to you- it really is meant to be!
Their ceremony was held outside at the Paramount Plaza and was officiated by Rev. Bert Ayers. Although we encountered a little wind, Jennifer and Greg shared in a beautiful unity candle ceremony and even took their first communion as husband and wife. This act incorporated their religious backgrounds in a very meaningful way.
Their wedding party consisted of Jennifer's two sisters, Greg's brother, and other close friends. Lovely ladies!
Jennifer's nephew was the ring bearer- barely! He fought a cold and was very cranky all day- up until the ceremony began and then he blew us all away! Later in the night, we was able to let loose on the dance floor and have lots of fun!
After the ceremony, guests walked right upstairs to the Paramount Plaza Bivens Ballroom where the cocktail hour and reception were held.
The Paramount staff was great and the food was delicious! Wayne Perry from Wayne's World Entertainment got the party started- and kept it going all night!
We definitely had fun with the garter and bouquet tosses- and everyone was shocked at who caught the garter- especially him!
Joan Prange from Prange's Florist did an incredible job with the flowers- matching the girls blue dresses and also incorporating some accents of peach and yellow. I heard compliments all night about how lovely the flowers were!
And of course, the gourmet cake by Ms. Debbie's Sugar Art was to die for! Not only was it delicious, but it looked unlike any wedding cake I've ever seen- so unique!!
After much toasting and celebrating between the two families, the night came to a close. Everyone gathered to make Jennifer and Greg's farewell extra special- with bubbles! I always love how these pictures turn out.
A big thank you to Scott Pictures for capturing all the beautiful images of the day! Congratulations again to Jennifer and Greg and their families- and best wishes to you all!
