Yes or No to Kids at the Reception

She says No to kids and He says Yes to kids. What do you do? There are a few options to consider.
  • One you can have them at the wedding ceremony but not the reception.
  • You can have them at both for the entire time.
  • You could have a sitter that comes in after dinner. You can ask for references from your friends who have kids or you can hire a company that does it professionally. We use to have one in Gainesville but it has since closed. We have two ladies on subcontractors that do a lot of babysitting and have CPR and First Aid Trained and have a ton of Babysitting Experience. We love Lauren and Julia. You can check out a national website for options too. www.theweddingsitters.com.
  • The sitter can stay at the reception even and have activities at a table for the kids.
  • You could have no kids at all.

Most parents want their children to be there but when the reception turns into a party they really want to have their kids somewhere else so they can have fun too just as they as parents want to have fun.

Whatever, you decide remember that it is your wedding.
