The individual cakes can be placed on a single dessert table paired with candy or other desserts or the mini-cakes can also be used as centerpieces on the guest tables at the reception.
Using several cakes allow for use of different hues, designs, and adds an elegant feel. You could even “theme” them by favorite places that you’ve been or sports teams.
Several cakes (not to mention several flavors!) seem like the way to go!

I love simple wedding cakes like these...not to big or flashy. They have just enough detail/accents without entirely overwhelming the wedding cake.
